Publish blog posts with categories, authors, and SEO — built into your storefront.
Workfile Store includes a built-in blog for content marketing. Write posts, organize them by category, assign authors, and publish directly to your storefront — no external blogging platform needed.
Blog is a toggleable module. If you don't see it in your sidebar, enable it from Settings → Modules.
Creating a blog post
Go to Blog → New Post
Click New Post from the blog posts list. The blog post editor opens with fields for content, metadata, and SEO.
Write your content
The editor supports rich text formatting — headings, bold, italic, lists, links, images, and code blocks. Write your post directly in the editor.

Publish
Set the status to Published and save. The post is immediately live on your storefront at /blog/your-slug.
Write blog posts that naturally link to your products. A post about "Best Fabrics for Summer" can link directly to your cotton and linen product collections — driving organic traffic to your store.
Categories
Organize posts into categories from Blog → Categories. Categories help readers browse by topic and improve SEO.

Each post belongs to one category. Categories appear as filters on your blog listing page.
Authors
Manage blog authors from Blog → Authors. Each author has a name, bio, and avatar that appear on their posts.
This is useful when multiple team members contribute to the blog — each post shows who wrote it, building trust and personality.
Blog on the storefront
Your blog is accessible at yourstore.workfile.store/blog with:
- Listing page — all posts with featured images, excerpts, and category filters
- Post page — full post content with author card, date, category, and related posts
- Category pages — posts filtered by category
Blog posts are automatically included in your sitemap and get proper Open Graph tags for social sharing. Each post generates its own meta title and description for search engines.
Blog settings
Configure blog-level settings from Blog → Settings:

Using blog widgets in the page builder
The Page Builder includes blog-specific widgets you can place on any page:
- Blog Entry Grid — show recent posts on your homepage
- Blog Entry Carousel — horizontal scrolling post cards
- Blog Related Entries — "Related posts" section on blog post pages
This lets you feature blog content across your storefront, not just on the blog page itself.
