Getting Started
Set up your online store on Workfile and add your first product in under 10 minutes.
Welcome to Workfile Store. This guide walks you through creating your store, adding your first product, and going live.
Workfile Store uses Workfile ID — a single account that works across all Workfile products. If you already have a Workfile account, you can sign in directly.
Set up your store
Create your account
Go to app.workfile.io and click Get Started Free. Sign up with your email or Google account. You'll be taken through a quick onboarding flow to set up your first store.
Name your store and pick a subdomain
During onboarding, you'll enter:

Your store will be live at ananya-crafts.workfile.store immediately. You can add a custom domain later.
Pick a short, memorable subdomain — it becomes your default store URL. You can always add a custom domain like ananyacrafts.com from Settings → Domains.
Add your first product
Go to Products → Add Product. Fill in the basics:

Upload 2-3 product images, add a description, and hit Save. Your product is now live on your storefront.
Preview your storefront
Click View Store in the top-right of your dashboard to see your storefront. Your product is already listed and ready for customers to browse.
Your dashboard at a glance
Once your store is set up, the dashboard shows:
- Revenue, orders, products, and customer counts at the top
- Quick actions to add products, categories, collections, or upload media
- Recent orders as they come in
- Getting started checklist to guide you through the remaining setup
The dashboard also shows widgets from installed apps (like Razorpay payment stats or Shiprocket shipping updates) once you connect them.
Next steps
After your first product is live, here's what to tackle next:
Set up payments
Go to Settings → Payments and connect Razorpay to accept UPI, cards, wallets, and net banking. You'll need your Razorpay Key ID and Key Secret.
Configure shipping
Head to Settings → Shipping and install a shipping app like Shiprocket to set up delivery rates and courier partners.
Customize your storefront
Visit Pages to use Workfile Canvas — the visual page builder — to design your homepage, about page, and more with 50+ drag-and-drop widgets.
Use Settings → Modules to toggle features on or off. If you don't need bookings or a blog, disable them to keep your sidebar clean.
